ok. i got the game and everything on an old jump drive that i had lying around before i quit many years ago.
i decided to build me a computer because i had money.
so now that i got it an are running WinXP Prof, i cant get the game to connect to or recieve a connection.
Anyone know how to fix this?
is there some type of driver im supposed to know about that i havent installed?
Please help.
Thx in advance
It sounds like the firewall is blocking you. In that case, you have to add JK to the list of exceptions. You can do this through control panel>windows firewall> exceptions, or ALT+TAB when you try to host or join a game and select the option to add it to the exceptions you should see when you do that.
Let us know if this solved your prob, ok?

well sry.
forgot to mention that the only firewall i have is windows firewall and it is off.
hmm... weird... maybe it's a router problem, then? I'm running on XP pro also, and I didn't have to do anything special for JK to work so that's all I can think of...
If that's the case, check this out: http://www.jkhub.net/library/index.php/ ... ning_Ports
