I have read on the many JK sites that i need to forward ports 2300-2400 (TCP/UDP) and also ports 47624-47625 (TCP/UDP). I've done it, and when i search for a game I can see it now, but when I try to join it simply locks myself on that "Contacting host computer..." screen.
I have no firewalls (disabled even windows firewall service) and I even disable my anti-virus when i join, to avoid any trouble.
Running on Windows XP SP3.
There is another port that i need to open maybe?

Edit: FIXED. When I used DMZ on my router, worked like a charm

i don't think it's a firewall problem or ports... Is someone on your network trying to join a game with you, that may be the problem.. If not, then I dunno
