Shinji this is a warning - do not post most than 2 successive posts at a time in one thread. The 2 additional posts you made conveyed nothing and both constitute spam, therefore they will be deleted.

Sorry about that. Please delete that post up there. Or edit it with a j/k.
I HAVE BEEN MISREPRESENTED.

Really though I played with everyone from back in the day though and they were real competitive item snatchers and one setting jockeys and stuff (joking!) but a small handful of those dudes kept playing. I think 2001 was the prime time for FF Oasis, when there would be like 10 or so people on at night worth teaming up with. I'd say probably 99 or 2000 was the prime for FF BGJ when everyone played 8 hours a day after chatting and reading message boards during high school keyboarding class.

I'd honestly say that I saw the most talent in FF Oasis in 03-04 when the 5-10 or so dudes that still played were still on 5 hours a day 3 days a week; be them old school elites or second rate nobodies that took 6 years to finally learn how to play--that is when people were really good. I quit for a long time and came back to find that Spanker was the best. I shit my pants, laughed and puked all at the same time. or when aeron got his cable modem. jesus christ i was getting hit mid air fucking conc shots. thats what i think.

im high

I think when I was active I was up there in the top 4 in FF Guns. The top guys at the time were DSbr_AeRoN, JaG_AssKicker, and DSbr_Narz. I've beaten AssKicker and Narz, but I have never beaten AeRoN in FF Oasis tho. He was the best FF Gunner in the game, and he never would admit it either. I think people say the reason why I wasn't good at FF Oasis was because I didn't use a gun. I would use a saber most of the time and they would complain about me using 'pull' hehe. I played Spanker during the time the zone was going to delete JK, he was good but AeRoN and AssKicker at their prime would have beaten spanker. I always likes FF Oasis more than FF BGJ, but I was better at FF BGJ for some reason =/. Btw, i never knew Narz hacked...interesting.

oh and I'd like to point out that when it came to DSbr and WD, I'd say they were both quite even. I remember one CWT, WD won the FF Guns 2v2 CWT, and DSbr won the FF Sabers 2v2 CWT. They both had great players who played FF. I don't know why there was so much hate between us.

I'm going to have to take that statement back. The new guys were pretty good at FF oasis (no need to name names you know who you are) dark vs dark, but they didn't fare too well without the surge, or a conc rifle, and 0% of them knew how to KILL a lighty let alone beat one. i take it back the most skill i saw was when broadband was just becoming popular. old schoolers were better at nf Ji leave packs, but i have seen some pretty good dudes at nf merc 2 that are strictly new school as far as i know. I'd have to say that merc 2 is my worst level in JK, and I don't remember playing it much or it being as popular as it is today before the 1st 2nd or 3rd time I 'retired' from JK, only to find myself crawling back to it like a junkie to heroin or an alcoholic to the bar.

It's not really fair to say that new guys don't know how to kill a lighty, because not many lighties played later on in JK. The only FFers that only played lighty when I played were MercyMan (only played team games with darklord) and SuN (hardly came on at all).

The main reason for this is because there weren't many FF oasis tournaments later on. Majority of people enjoyed Dark v Dark games more, but lots of people switched to light for tournament games, since it gave a slight advantage.

Players like me who played FF later on didn't get to play much since there were very few good active players. When we did play it was mostly dark v dark since there were no tournaments or anything to 'practice' for. We just wanted to have more fun, thus no lighties.

I remember I'd join his games when it was some newbie as my teammate I'd be killing Mercy and Darklord and they'd kick me lol. I remember when MercyMan used to play as dark. He still sucked as a lighty though, I played him 1v1. He was light, I was dark. He left the game when i was beating him 3 to -1 and said it was bullshit lol. But you're right, not a lot of lighties played later on. There were a lot of lighties back then...SithLord, NiCoDeMuS, ViPRaVeN to name a few who were really good. Not much of that in the later parts of JK.
