Good FF People?and NF guns

I do believe Mentat posted this under the wrong topic so I'll just copy and paste it here:

DarkStrike, Jeb, JZA, Narz, and Reiko were some of the best FF saberists that I've played. DarkStrike and JZA used to beat me the worst.

AssKicker or Aeron (I can't remember which, but one of them gave me the worst FF guns beatdown that I've ever had), Nicodemus, VipRaven, Nightmarez, Spanker, Narz, and MercyMan were the best FF gunners that I've played.

After my first few years of JK I almost exclusively played NF CTF, so feel free to disregard my opinion. I would just like to add that these were the best players I've played, not necessarily the best players (I was never more than a decent FF saberist/gunner). I'd have to say that TF and ETI were my favorite CTF clans. NDS was good in CTF, but we were mostly a social clan and never took winning too seriously.

Also, I'd just like to say that Merlin was a good player, despite all the crap that he got.

aeron and narz was a good team. im undefeated at blades of death ff. i think me and nightmarez could beat any 2v2 at jedi knight. or reiko at FF.

Not really. He was okay at it. And Narz hacked. Nightmarez used to hack too, although I'm not sure if he did in the late JK years.

You NKMers think everyone hacked. I always got along with you folks, but I can even remember some of you claiming that NDS_PuRiTy and NDS_FoGGy2DoPe hacked in CTF, despite the fact that I know them both in real life and have played with them over a LAN. I respected you guys, but collectively your clan probably called 99.9% of the Zone hackers at one point or another.

I met Narz on jediBoard and Qtracker before he started playing on the Zone and watched him steadily progress in to a great player. I've played him when he was a newbie, and when he was one of the better FFers on the Zone, and I've never seen anything out of the ordinary from him.

Marez was a dick sometimes, and was never very good in NF Guns or NF Sabs, but he was a good FF gunner and I've never seen him hack. I remember people used to think he hacked just because he could get on top of the scoreboard in Nar CTF with NF and F8 run/jump to the ship top from the water area of BGJ. Marez didn't hack, he was just a technical player that had an understanding of the game that not many outside of the top clans had.

I doubt that Reiko was any good in FF guns, but he was a great FF saberist. My opinion is that he was probably in the top 15-20 FF saberists that I've ever played.

Purity did hack sol and i in a ctf game. She was using force speed and force jump in a nf game. I dont know if she hacked all the time but she did in the game we were talking about. It's not like you cant tell when somebody is using force powers in a nf game it wasnt lag. Anyways, I dont really care lol. Nightmarez used to hack when he was in WD he admitted to it many times. I can get Mav to come here and vouch for me if I wanted to, but I dont care all that much.

A lot of people did hack JK, though. I never said Reiko was a bad ff saberist i just said he wasnt very good at ff guns. Dont get butthurt k? k ty bye

NDS_Purity as in Purity_JCS??

She went and accused me of hacking a few times after getting smacked down.

I'm pretty sure Purity and Foggy god toggled against me in a merc game once. In addition they were killing me and my teammate as soon as we spawned and were loading pax and basically disregarding the established rules of nf guns. I know you are good friends with them Mentat, and they are probably decent people. But they didn't strike me as the types who really cared to be good sports and be agreeable in game. As I said, they are probably fine in real life, but my experiences with them in JK were primarily negative.

NDS_PuRiTy isn't PuRiTy_JCS (hated NF sabs after about 1999-2000). PuRiTy went under NDS_Thrawn, NDS_Labria, PuRiTy_Hoth, SaGE_PuRiTy, and _DaRk_LaNTeRN_.

I know they don't hack for a fact, but I would agree that they didn't really care about MO2 or JiO rules. If an NDS was hosting, the general rule was that anything goes. We never bought in to the entire lock-n-load, leave packs, and saber = peace nonsense. We'd just assume mow someone down with a saber or poop some thermals/mines in to the water and all die laughing about it. The entire clan spent more time trying to kill people in humorous ways than we ever spent trying to be serious Conc-whores. I know that our antics were a bit immature, but we had a blast, and were never known for taking NF guns very seriously. Sadly, you are probably correct in your irritation with them both if they were playing against the rules if they weren't hosting. We were always big in to 'anything goes' gameplay, especially in standard DM maps, regardless of the established Zone rules, mainly because it was a superior style of play in FFA games (we tend to guard Conc in Oasis and use the more interesting weapons to kill anyone who goes for it).

Now NF CTF was another story...even though we often goofed off in that as well. It's not like our cheap tactics just started happening one day...I can remember back in 99 when we used to spend hours just trying to saber people while they jumped to cliff in BGJ and then watch them suicide as they bounced off of our bodies to their death below. Cheap, yes. Irritating to everyone outside of NDS, yes. Funny as hell to us, yes. 😉

Either way, I respect yalls opinions, but I've sat beside Fogogg and Purity while we played against Zoners online numerous times while we were all called hackers, and we'd generally just laugh it off because it was so obviously not true.

Jeb, JZA, Frost, Crazy, probably Quake, Luke18, Reiko i suppose, Quake eventually... Bloodyshark mostly, Jo Mama, newmodel but he admitted to hacking most of the time, ummm...

General_Patton was a great FF Gunner, as was Jihad_Master..... thats old school though
