I can talk trash here all I want cause this is an internet forum last time I checked which is accessible to anybody.

This is great I love how I am able to cut people down with so few words, and I thought I was losing my touch. All I said was you were a newbie (in humour mind you).

Ness this game isnt even worth installing and I owned when I used to play it, anybody worth their salt here will back me up. Why dont you try come up with some new insults other than attacking the jk skill of somebody you will never have the privelege of playing.

My name is creative because I was the first subzero to grace the zone, and ive had plenty of other names since, you would of known me as Divine_VDS during 2001 which is PROBABLY when you started playing.

I dont need to back up my trash talk nor do I plan to, my reputation alone should preceed me, and anyway I have better things to do. dP most likely stood for Doubly Penetrated which is what I'm pretty sure they received from DSbr during the zone days. And SM are a newbie clan. If you have a problem with "MEAN INTERNET WORDS" then I suggest you apply a razor blade to your wrists.

Anyway Wodz made a thread to facilitate that and my suggestion is that this continue as a discussion regarding Prince although I see some general Saber Clan comments here. ya i know your feeling sub.. the later days of JK didnt offer much of a challenge... that is why come 2002 Prince played Prince. pretty much it, was the only way I got even a semblance of a challenge. Then even that faded after I got a job.

An odd point to argue:
I wonder if many people didn't realize the good saberists Prince had because they'd only play me, or other Prince..

very much like VDS played themselves a good bit. The Prince people played by others were the outcasts from the group that couldn't compete.. and wanted to improve their skills to fit in.
Nevertheless, there really wasn't too many good people to play period come 2002 and even late 2001.

Kind of off topic but Id actually forgotten all about DSbr (understandable as they were ff chat whores and we were nf chat wh0res). However, during their time, they were `unquestionably` the best ff clan by miles. I remember JZA trying to show me how to play FF after I showed him a few nf tricks, and I couldnt pick it up atall... was wayyyyyy to fast and furious for my slow arse brain. Good fun though. Kind of like the FF version of VDS really, the best players by far but couldnt be botherd to play with the kiddies - nice!

And Subz, LMAO I forgot that you were called Divine in VDS.

As for Prince, my final comments after the wh0ring in the previous thread, I liked Prince, allways did. Its just that you guys let too many noobs in, it was no different to JKNR / EX. Its a shame, but you cannot have weak players alongside good players and maintaine a reputation - doesnt matter how good your best guys are, the weaker players will bring the name down into the mud. However, I allways respected Prince for not caring and letting weaker players in to imrpove them and be generally nice guys - I allways thought that was a strong point about Prince 🙂

I don't know 🙂 it seemed to me a lot easier to get real good at FF than it did at NF.. so I never really worked hard at FF... (I always thought in the back of my mind, I used to be a dominant FF Bespin player,. I'm sorta sick of it; I also thought I can do it if I wanted to I just don't wanna lol) I do give my utter respect to those who played FF on a regular basis though,. if I wasn't continuously being pleaded for matches in NF sabers I would of played A LOT more FF..

Finally England, ya you are right we let too many newbies in.. Well to a point... we let too many newbies in when we weren't good.. those newbies stuck with us.. and didn't get any better.. unfortunately cause they didnt play enough JK to get better.. we had about a nice band of I'd say 10 newbiesh JKNR level players early 2000 that dwindled down to about .. 2 in 2001... these newbeish players would play JK about once a week.. 10 of them once a week seemed a good bit. and that ruined our rep as a whole.. Furthermore... everyday Prince players that were "gunners / FF players " such as Karbon, Snoopy (everday Prince chatter lol), Apoc, Klone, Blight.. never played sabers so when they did play downcast our whole "saber clan image" (we were never a sabers only clan.., against popular belief)

come mid 2000 ,. when zodiac, cable, neo, ox, ax, sculpt, sacred, deetrix, and even you returned to Prince,. our recruitment standards were much higher..
(we were just too newbie friendly to boot the guys that were in Prince over a year who had improved in skill.. even then.. people would pop out of thin air that hadn't logged on in years and were utter newbies.. another downfall from having a 5 year old clan that started as a newbie clan)

the majority of people on zone when vds was around were newbie saberists and your medicore members beat newbies. a sabers nf clan that was formed well after jk meant anything should never be compared to DSbr

at least prince had people who actually played guns

we had Prince gunners who could compete with HDK... Jackal, Klone, SonicPro, Locutus (thrawn) , nate1, Karbon was even a decent gunner during his best years.., Apoc to name a few..

We had a few decent FF people as well that could compete with
WD easily:
Kaoiken, Maniac, Blight

Prince was never entirely about NF sabers...

It's funny, but not unexpected, that a toggler like you doesn't know that sabers was everything BUT cave. You should know this. After all it's where you used to toggle when people were lagbursting 😀

3-0 vs Judge, Legacy, Crusader, CrimsonKnight, Kain, Foob, dr00me, bartolo, DemonLoki, SoulReaPer, MacLeod, Crucifier, and the list goes on.

Some of these guys either quit midgame (fraglimit 5) or bitched and whined like, you said, mediocre players. The five first were the worst with kain taking whining to a new level. It wasn't dead easy to beat them but their movement, timing and strategy were based on the level of competition from another time. Simple as that.

Vanion how did you find all those old school people to play lol? I would of loved to challenge half of em.. I doubt if I could 3 to 0 them though...
least w/ the Laggy technology I was on... the lag made things unpredictable and soemtimes that unpredictableness made impossible
to avoid getting hit... lag skip,.. lag burst.., etc.

van - Judge as in Judgmentday? He always seemed like a good sport to me. So thats a little surprising. Wodz why do you have to be so disagreeable all the time. Backing up the world of old school JK til the cows come home. I didn't even start playing until 2000, and I didn't really start playing good people until 2001. But it seems to me that the skill should steadily improve as long as people still played daily. Its also different games. The difference between dialup and broadband. The difference between warping and not. And don't lecture me on how warping is skilless and random. This attitude is rather ignorant. And I don't want to hear how my opinion isn't valid because I'm an unskilled newbie. Sure, I was never at the level of VDS. But I handed losses to people like Sculpt, Clumsy, Nohgri, Collier, etc. And I could give vanion, england, zodiac a good game.
