i was looking though my cds and decided to reinstall Dark Forces 2. I am running windows vista and having some problems with the grapics but that isnt my major problem.
I'm wanting to install Patch Commander so i can play the ole mods that i used to play when i was a kid. Yet, when i try to install 4.0, it gives me a WIN 32 application error.
How do i fix this? or how to i play mods without Patch Commander.
Well, i wouldn't know how to fix that...
But i do know how you can run mods without Patch Commander (and without having to use those annoying command lines), try downloading JKLauncher. It does a lot of other things too also, so check it out, here's the link:

I also have discovered that the error oY mentioned is caused because the instalation file is messed up. I have the good one that installs and runs with no problem at all... i'll see if Ret wants to add it to the site when he launches V4...

Patch Commander has been up since last year. I think UJS is in the archive somewhere as well(If not, get it from JKHub).
The Massassi copy is notoriously corrupted.

No, it's just the error the buggy version gives, the good ones (the one at the jkhub or the one here) run just fine
