Also, this thread is getting rather amusing. Fact is Yack, none of the high profile guilds ever had any respect for prince. That says it all. Perception is everything, and perhaps you can convince the few people on this forum that Prince were at the top of the tree now its 8 years later, but way back then, Prince had no respect. Sorry mate, just the way it was.

As for why so many members in VDS were in Prince, I have no idea if my situation was the same as most other people, but I was begged to join, it was hardly like good players were quing up to join, they were nagged into submission lol. Again, just my opinion.

I only played with a joystick till hm.. early 2000 at the latest.. but my style alwayls sorta remained the same... joystick was just too slow.. you really havent played me much after you left Prince haha, which further indicates that you really didn't know Prince much better then either during that ime.. but its aight.. perception is often a lie., its not everything.. maybe in the JK world were lies often become truths lol. but ya that is all I'm arguing Prince was always seen as a lot worse than they actually were in the old / mid days..
and after awhile in the later days of JK we made it to a point were I think all the members felt like they were in the top clan... that was after your VDS guys came through Prince.

Finally, I was unclear of one thing you said.. you were begged into joining up? are you referring to joining upin VDS or joinig up in Prince?

Yack should attempting to exclaim that Prince was an "underrated" clan, since it was never respected by any "reputable" clans during the entire history of JK.

Pereception and popularity outweigh clairvoyant skill within the JK community. That is why new schoolers loved VDS so much; for their popularity, not for their dominating skills in areas of JK that they didn't even play (e.g. everything other than Sabers NF)

This thread should be closed. The original list choices for "best sabers clan" are way off the mark in the first place and I don't feel like typing anything further.

I was never close to being much more than mediocre in NF sabs, despite beating 1 or 2 top 20's, and I didn't spend a great deal of time on Cases, but I've had my ass handed to me by the likes of JCS (Dr00me beat me twice) and KDD, and I can safely say that people like him were in a totally different league than clans like Prince and BoL. There's simply no comparison unless you're in denial.
