Light or Dark?

the easy answer is, in a game with lag dark is so much better, can you really time a gun or asaber with a ping over 500? grip stops em for you, tho if you are truely elite and u can aim a gun with over 500 ping then light is the better option, however i neve rlost a game a to a light in ff sabs.

I havent read all the past corospondance but i think i did read enough.

SBX does take a lot of item timing out of the game, i know from experience when i had a few games of SBX FF BGJ when i have fought light side, i had every item timed down to a tee (as usual in a ff game) but i wasnt able to kill very easily as the asorb was always toggled on and off and as i play normal jk i was moving to fast for them to saber time me.

I just think that SBX slows the game down alot compared to normal JK where hte game is about speed, item timing and predicting lag. With the comment to dest. I dont know about most other FF BGJ players but i never shoot it at myself anyways, i often use it as a finishing move after warp gripping or sabering. I often get my opp. to chase me and do a quick tiurn jump and dest to catch them off guard.

Anyways, just my 2 cents.

If I had some free time I might take a look at the SBX cogs if I was one of you.

long time no see. Your right, never lost a game to a lighty in ff sabs, and only a few lightys in ff guns (due to my elite 56k dial up, yet i can still saber time them?)

acutaly me and WD_Lazishot played a 2vs2 game of bgj ff against rain and negs (light vs dark; me and lazi were dark while rain and negs were light). it was fun acutally; after playing against lazi all the time he developed a style similar to mine and we just raped the shit out of rain and negs. ahhh those were the days.

me being a lighty,.. do believe its possible to beat a good amount of darky's in FF sabers.. The best FF Saber lighty vs. the best ff saber darky..

I pose a question.. (does 4 star grip keep a player from moving completely even with 4 stars on speed, also can force jump be used while being gripped ?) I havent played FF in so long i can't recall these differences..

I do think the FF lighty gunner could be a FF darky gunner...
its all about not getting hit with the blasted saber when being gripped..
If a light side gunner can overcome that... then they should be able to win in all situations.

In Sabers.. it really comes down to who is the better saberist.. or who controls the items the best if you take the "Force Grip out of the equation that slows you down from moving"

Light side = defense, dark = offense. I always play light vs dark in oasis, and in FF oasis a light dark team is the way to go. dark is better in sbx in oasis. i use mines fire 1 and rail det.

If I can't choose all force powers with my charector hack I would probably go blind grip destruct and run and jump.
