Whenever I hit the Join IP game from the multiplayer screen, my screen goes blue and in small wiriting at the top it says "Dumping Physical Memory to Disk'.......as it counts to 100 and reboots
What the hell
I did just reinstall/reformat up to Win 2000. This seems to be a memory issue of some type as its only crashed like this when playing JK or Tribes--both old games
NOW....Anyone know if its a Sysytem error, a Firewall/Router issue (DMZ has been switched to play JK online already) or a Video Card issue?
Help Ras....please
ALSO--Any SBX players reading this add me to your Yahoo or MSN--im able to host games and my connection rocks.
MTFBWY Thanks for all help
Sounds like a system problem to me.
Alright there are two things I would try, assuming you have already reformatted and reinstalled windows and as a result are positive it is not a software error.
1) Before opening the case, try making sure you have updated drivers for your video card. Its worth a shot.
2) If you are comfortable opening the case, try swapping either the video card of hard drive if you have an extra of either. Trying out different components will help you to narrow down the problem.
And that's all I can think of right now
