This secret program was only provided to a select few Jedi Knight players...part of a complex plan by LucasArts to kill off the JK community so they would all purchase Jedi Outcast...unfortionately the plan failed; everyone bought outcast, but never played it and continue playing JK to this day. 🙂

back in 2000 i had a cable modem that i could turn off and on and if i was hosting the other player would freeze long enough for me to grab an item (if i were so inclined).
This explains a lot!
Honestly I only played JK2 for about 4 months (not the 3 1/2 years I played JK and MotS). I've played JKA close to 1 1/2 years now though, so it's gaining on my old favorite!
