Yeah things have died down considerably. I don't know what's going on in IRC as far as activity, but there is a clear decrease in server and forum activity. It's time for me to turn this around.
In the days approcahing Christmas, expect some elite site updates and upgrades to various parts of the site.
In regards to the JK Dedicated Server, I'm not sure if it's still up 24/7 or not, so I will look into this and consider running a new server. It has been unofficially announced that the JKDS will be no longer in an unspecified period of time.

For those of you who didnt know- for a long while now I have been active in trying to preserve and motivate the Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2 community. I used the alias JKSERVER, operated a JK game called JKDS (Jedi Knight Dedicated Server), and worked in association with EAH_Heretik on JKDF2.net/Narshadda.net. For more information about this visit - jkdf2.net . My main reason for the seperate identity was I did not wish to encourage hacking on the JKDS server. I am announcing this now because I plan to stop hosting the JKDS shortly, and using that computer to host more popular multiplayer games.

In other news, JKHub.net has announced it's second "Hub Level Pack Contest" and editors throughout the JK community are already beginning their projects. Check out the site for more information and updates on individual projects.

Well, this last week i could't join the JKDS 'cause i'm having lots of comp trouble (which i think i solved now), but untill last week it was working fine, at least SBX @ Atlantis
Too bad about the JKDS going down... i hope you can do something else then, Heretik. I'm one of those who still comes to the JKDF very often, so i noticed there is less and less ppl in there too. Last week i had 1 game with some guy, but before that, i couldn't find anyone for a game for weeks... (except for a game i had with the JKLE guys 😀 )
Well, the last thing i have to say for now is i'll be still around here and looking for games, so any project or ideas will have my support, and if i can be of any help, just let me know.
