...Registering forum accounts requires a working email account. If you do not activate your account through your email, then your new account will remain inactive till you do so. The email may take a longer than normal time to recieve but it is fully functional so all you have to do is wait for it and it should appear in less than 5 minutes, most likely in less than 1 minute. 😉
