You probably don't have your DSL/Cable Router Configured Properly that would cause problems connecting to it.. you should come on the MIRC server irc.holonet.org room #jk to talk to some people maybe they can better help you config it.. all I can tell you is these are the ports you need open on your router to run JK:
TCP 2300-2400
UDP 2300-2400
and TCP 47624

find your router.. follow the instructions select any game it doesnt amtter cause JK has specific port settings to Open.. don't listen to the ports they give u for JK / outcast cause those aint right... Make your you config a static IP beforehand.. they have the tutorial on how to do that on that page..
