1) Wouldn't be too hard, this could be accomplished with a pulse. I'm pretty sure JKSERVER had this idea a while back but decided not to use it or something. I'll take a shot at it though. I think a message would make more sense than a sound, but I could even do both, heh.
2) Showing the time remaining after every kill would be annoying, and when a player leaves dosen't seem like a great time either, but when a player joins would be a good time. Announcing the time remaining would be a good Admin Tool.

Yeah I didn't realize it before but I think JKConcatASCIIString() with the right params could only print a message on the logging machine, so like, could make a cog with a pulse detecting health of all players and if a player's health drops to below 1 then he's probally dead, so then you could JKConcatASCIIString() the death. Oops don't know if that made sense, all kinda at once heh.
