I guess I've done a poor job of keeping in touch with people over the years
however, there are a couple good pretty active JK forums still up:
www.vds.vze.com --- VDS message board where about 50% of the people who post on their are former Prince members
www.narshaddaa.net --- where this forum is hosted, at least 10 new posts are put out everday concering some relevant and some off the wall JK topics. You'll probably be able to find at least a couple old friends posting on there.

then we had an ezboard.. it shut us down too.. but that was to be expected cause no one really new about that one too much

Yeah that was the unfortunate trend for a lot of JK clans, both small and large from 1997 up until 2003, with having gamers.com message boards. No one really knew in the end that gamers.com would end up erasing every board and no longer even offer a message board service.
Ezboard's also got erased if they weren't used for I believe 2 year's at least.
