ya that may have been the case buddy 🙂 but I think a lot of the people we considered elites back in 1998,. are of only mediocre skill compared to those people that played JK up until 2002 from way back yonder.
Their mearning of the word elite was miscewed at best. Its like me thinking I was elite being able to woop anyone in Bespin at any setting in 1998 🙂 . It was true to my mind at least, but true for JK as a whole for all time. Nope!

To newbies, WLP are elite 🙂
playing someone like me in sabers would be like playing God,. or thinkin they are playing an extreme cheater.
Of course that same misconception was carried by many WLP / IGF calibur players alike.

anyhow Wacko :).. Prince were definately talked too much smack for their own good, but at least some of us could back it up .

You all seem to not understand the clan 'eliteness' concept, so I'm gonna break it down for you all. All clans have some good players, and some bad ones. Ok, so WLP didn't have tryouts, so what, we still had some elite players.

Take clans that do have tryouts, they still have people that suck. Yes that includes Prince.

The bottom line is, there are enough elite WLP players that can beat anybody who feels 'big and bad enough' to call us newbie. So please quit the pointless name-calling, unless you feel like backing it up with some games. You know where to find me...

I never said anything bad against WLP, i just use them as an example cause a lot of people discredit them as being any good, just as a lot of people discredit Prince as being any good.

Aw come on Punk. Thing is that WLP was always better than RGF or IGF.. I mean.. some good players spawned from WLP. I don't recall the same thing from RGF/IGF though.. well.. Mcloud was good at sabs.. any others?

hmm.. I might be biased though, since I was never in RGF/IGF..

id say as a whole wlp werent very skilled back in the day, but now they have a couple of awesome players, especially punk who raped me in ff and wasnt bad at bgj either. I would call him elite but not WLP altogether. but who cares anyway?

ya early WLP were crap to what I guess would be considered later WLP...
just like early Prince were crap to what I say later Prince were.
Very much the same sorta deal.. only Prince started in 1997 and had a lot of time to get better when a lot of people stlil cared about JK.

Anyhow 🙂 You can forget about WLP_Blue_Dog and the other elite Allias's that played for WLP in WoW and ripped VDS / JCS off of wins.
Quite oddly I think that was Eng and oxide right? haha
