Pirates is the top grossing opening movie in world history

it was Xmen 3 just a few months ago

The prices are going up but the grossings keep going through the roof over and over

Todays people are bored and scared of real life so they hide in the movies eating more junk food. It's the American Way of Life.

Great movie list, thanks for the post.

You guys have really good movie tastes. My pick of the ones mentioned earlier:

Lost Highway - A creepifying sensual mystery tale. By David Lynch - that should tell you enough.

Mulholland Drive - another mindboggling mystery by David Lynch for those who liked 'Lost Highway'

Se7en

evil dead trilogy-
cheap horror movies, scary and funny

requiem for a dream-
this movie is so intense you will shit your pants

dazed and confused-
elite high school party scene

the toxic avenger-
so bad it's funny, watch this with good friends while drinking, great for some laughs

but come on.. Tron? LOL.

i'd also recommend The Thin Red Line. A poetic war movie (that you, unfortunately, have to see a couple of times to understand who's talking.)

Its something that none of you have the star wars trilogy listed here. I would think that must be some of the top movies you would like.

I not much into those R rated films. Just dont like all the context thats in them.

i dont really get to watch any movies on tv anyhow sine my little sister is on it about constantly watch movies and even play video games at the age of 4 or 5. well some of the movies i like are is The Lord of the Rings Trilogy: based on the novels. all the action you would want in a movie if you can get through all the drama parts in it. Spiderman. I didnt get to see Pirates of the Carabbian2 yet but the first 1 did. And some family movies i would rather not say. (some Disney films). And Some Mel Gibson films. The Patriot: About a father who didnt want to get into the American Revolution but was forced to to save one of his children. I think thats how it went. We Were Soldiers:hmm cant think of what to say on it but that i liked the story etc.

Yeah the Indy movies are fantastic. They are timeless as well; twenty years from now they'll still be awesome.
