Description:

Multiplayer duel map with music and bot support.I decided to make a map with strong focus on architecture, yet with more varied fighting grounds than my last map. All areas are accessible with no force. You can jump around among the rocks outside the temple, but a faulty step will quickly lead to your death. This age-old Jedi temple is located in mighty mountains of Kejim. It is a relic of the Old Republic, a time of war between the Jedi and the Sith, the epic struggle of good and evil. This holy temple was both used as a place of tranquillity, and a place where Padawans were made Jedis. These sacred training grounds has now been rediscovered by the new Republic, and has once again been made a sparring ground for the peacekeepers of the Republic.

Emon	Posted: 05/15/02 21:00 Report Abuse I have to give it a 6. It looks quite nice and appealing, and the music is great. However, framerates were especially low on my Athlon 1.53 GHz, 256MB DDR RAM, GeForce 3 Ti 200 system. JO has more complex (much more) levels than this where my framerate is 90. This shows that the author built the level poorly, and didn't properly use caulk and detail brushes to keep framerates high. Admin Only: Delete
Hard Driver	Posted: 05/15/02 23:49 Report Abuse That and the fact that there's too much detail involved with the statues, rocky cliffs and rails. As a matter of fact though, most of the JO MP levels don't have that much detail because of lag and such. Very good looking, though. Admin Only: Delete

InLacrimas	Posted: 05/17/02 14:00 Report Abuse Dude, do you think I don't know about caulking, detail brushes, nodraw, visblocking etc, lol! I I didn't, the fps would be below 1 :) The reason this map doesn't have as high fps as other duel maps, is simply that it's MUCH more detailed. If you want to have highest possible fps when you play, go download some of the other temple maps that are out there, a box and some pillars and a triangle for the temple. lol. Admin Only: Delete
