to get the best addon for Jedi Knight for extra characters and sabres .... 

1: Download CrimsonEmpire.zip and unzip the files in a new folder
2. Place "Obsidian.3do", "CrimsonGuard.3do", and "kirkanos.3do" in the Jediknight/Resource/3do folder
3. Place all of the *.mat files in the Jediknight/Resource/3do/mat/ folder*******Note******* there is two mat folders....one in the Jediknight/Resource/ folder and one in the Jediknight/Resource/3do/
folder.   Make sure you put the *.mat files in the Jediknight/Resource/3do/Mat folder
4. Place "models.dat" in the Jediknight/Resource/misc folder
5. Place "Powerful.snd" in the Jediknight/Resource/misc/snd folder 
6. Place "Powerful.wav" in the Jediknight/Resource/sound folder 
7. Play the game and check out the Palpatine(w/ own sound!), Crimson Guard, Kir Kanos, and Obsidian skins in the Multiplayer setup!
------------------BACKGROUND STORY------------------------------------

An ambitious and unscrupulous senator named Palpatine rose quickly to power in the Old Republic. Promising to clean up the galaxy and return th Republic to thte excitiment of its more vital and ambitious days, Palpatine was elected President of the Republic, and surrounded himself with these greedy and power-hungry officials, who had swept him into power.

What they did not know was that palpatine drew his power and charicma from the dark side of the force. He had far greater ambitions than the mere office of President would allow him, and those who had ridden his coattails onto the upper places of political power were soon to finde themslves left behind, imprisoned, or crushed beneath the heavy hand of palpatine as he ruthlessly sought his ultimate goal...the systematic execution of the Jedi.

The Crimson Guard (also referred to as the Royal Guards) were the elite warriors cloaked in red who served the ruthless Emperor Palpatine in Return of The Jedi. Trained on the remote planet Yinchorr, the Crimson Guard would become the Galaxy's most feared warriors.  The warriors were hand picked from the Empire's top trooper squads, instructed in the art of Echani, and later dueled to the death in an arena known as the "Squall".

Kir Kanos, the last of the Emperor's Royal Guard, would be hunted down by the Empire for hiding secrets known only to one other man....Carnor Jax, self proclaimed successor of Palpatine.

Obsidian, trained in the ways of the Sith Assassins by Master Wu-Jen, would be hired by an unknown client to hunt and kill Kir Kanos....the story begins....
